From 2nd to 4th April 2017 Grandi Langhe Docg will be back.
A unique and exclusive opportunity to taste the excellence of the wine-making in the heart of its territory
2-3-4 April 2017, dates that the world of wine professionals cannot avoid noting down. After the success of 2015, Grandi Langhe DOCG is back, a biennial event organised by Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani open exclusively to national and international professionals.
Three days of tasting taking place in the different municipalities of origin, to allow learning about the wines directly from the producers and make new business agreements.
A real "journey" with itinerant tastings on the territory, in some of the most evocative castles and historic mansions to the discovery of the landscape of the Langhe, a unique territory where there has always been a visceral bond between man and grapevines.
Protagonists of this event not to be missed are the extraordinary DOCG wines of the Langhe: Barolo, Barbaresco, Diano d'Alba, Dogliani and Roero. Wines of excellence and quality recognised worldwide together with the universal value of their winegrowing region of origin.
In fact, the area of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato was proclaimed Human Heritage by UNESCO.
For centuries viticulture has been the core of the economy on these hills. And this recognition by UNESCO is awarded to a territory of vineyards but also to the work of men and women.
Thank to "Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Langhe e Dogliani" and "Associazione Albeisa", the programme of Grandi Langhe has become, in 2017, more rich. There will be a tasting event totally dedicated to national and international press, during which new Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero wines will be presented.d.
